As long as you’re a football fan and you follow the English Premier League a lot, you won’t need to be told that Chelsea are going through a patchy phase and are currently not in the firm they were this time last season. The Blues are currently out of form and it has had a huge toll on their season so far. For a side that were crowned the UEFA Champions League title and named the best team in Europe at the end of last season, they had only one job under Thomas Tuchel this season and that was to continue their blistering form to see if they can win the English Premier League title this season.
It was looking quite like the Blues would be strong challengers for the League title after the first few games of this season. Even though he was not in charge of a big match, Diaz oversaw a couple of defeats for the team and this was a major problem for Botafogo. Honda has been a very popular player since his arrival. The same can be said about Salomon Kalou, who is a Champions League winner with Chelsea.

Youngster Armando Broja is also a slight doubt due to an ankle problem he picked up in pre-season, although the Albanian international is expected to be available against Everton. New signings Carney Chukwuemeka and Marc Cucurella might not be involved, though, given they have hardly had any time to train with their new teammates.
