SALOMON KALOU: FEYENOORD CAREER PROBED

Salomon Kalou and Bonaventure Kalou are brothers who represented the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire on the international stage. Just like what was obtainable with his brother Bonaventure Kalou, Salomon Kalou began his football career at ASEC Mimosas in his native Cote d’Ivoire before he moved to the Dutch league.

Dutch Eredivisie giants Feyenoord snapped up Salomon Kalou in 2003 and by the following year, he was loaned out to their satellite team Excelsior. Kalou returned to Feyenoord to become a regular in the starting XI. He played in the Dutch top flight in the colours of Feyenoord for two seasons before Chelsea came calling. Salomon Kalou scored 35 goals in 67 league appearances for the Rotterdam-based outfit in his two seasons in the Dutch top flight.

KALOU: 2009 FA CUP FINAL REVIEWED

SALOMON KALOU GIVES HIS OPINION ABOUT CHELSEA MANAGER TUCHEL

Former Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou has revealed that he has been impressed with Chelsea mama her Thomas Tuchel so far and said he believes the manager will take the club to a better position coke the end of the season. Tuchel was appointed by club owner Roman Abramovic following the sacking of former manager Frank Lampard and he has done well to deserve the praise he has been getting since then.

SALOMON KALOU IS NOW A GRADUATE

 

Botafogo forward Salomon Kalou can be referred to as a graduate after the Ivorian international player bagged a University degree. The 35-year-old is gradually preparing for life at the end of his football career. Salomon Kalouhas secured a degree for himself at an institution in France.


He bagged a Business Administration (BA) degree at the prestigious Lyon business school in Lyon, France. Salomon Kalou was quick to praise his late father after he achieved success in his quest to bag a University degree. He confirmed his status as a graduate some months ago.

Salomon Kalou Joined the Brazil Club to Have Farewell

 

Every player poses a dream about the last days of their career. The striker of the Ivory Coast, Salomon Kalou also has decided to play for the Brazil club Botafogo before he says goodbye to football. For this, he left Hertha Berlin of Germany and has appeared in Brazil to play the last few games of his career. The former Chelsea skipper is going to celebrate his 35th birthday in August and is very eager to play on Brazilian soil.


According to him, the passions for football among the Brazilians are really awesome and you will get such an atmosphere in very few countries. His previous club Hertha Berlin suspended him as he broke the rules regarding social distancing and a video of that incident went viral on social media. Chelsea needs to replace Hazard

Former Chelsea player Salomon Kalou has stated that Chelsea needs to replace Eden Hazard if they want to challenge for trophies next season. He said that Hazard is a world-class player and that it will be difficult for Chelsea to find a like for like replacement for the Belgium international.

He said that not only they will have to replace their best player they will also need to find a new manager after the departure of Sarri.

Salomon Kalou said that it is important that an appointment is made as quickly as possible so that the manager can have enough time to build a team to compete in the Premier League. The former Chelsea player that Chelsea runs the risk of falling behind teams such as Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester United and even Arsenal if they do not invest in new players.

He believes that at the moment there is not a single player that can replace Eden Hazard and that they will have to use this money wisely in order to strengthen the team.

There are rumors that Frank Lampard will be the one that will manage Chelsea next season. Salomon Kalou said that Lampard is a really good person as a player but he still has to prove himself at the highest level. He said that there are plenty of rebuilding to be done at Chelsea and it is important that you have an experienced manager in this situation.

He said that the Chelsea team is really behind teams such as Liverpool and Manchester City and that they will need more than one transfer window if they want to catch up these teams in terms of development. For him, it is important that a manager is appointed as quickly as possible to help the team progress.
