Tottenham Hotspur are ready to return for Real Madrid playmaker, Isco, the Lilywhites made an approach for the player in the summer, but they were unable to reach a conclusion for the mercurial playmaker. According to an inside source from the club, the North London club will return for the player at the end of the season.
The Spain international’s future was up for debate, since the return of Zinidin Zidane, Isco has not enjoyed consistency with the French coach since he took over, and the second time coming of Zidane promoted rumour about the player’s exit.
The former Malaga player is playing again after injury ruled him out for a very long time, but since his return to fitness, he has been heavily involved in the team.
But Madrid are still open to business for the player, and Spurs are ready to offer an excess of €50 million for the player in the summer.
The Lilywhites added Fernandez from Benfica during the winter, they also signed Lo Celso on a permanent deal, the midfielder has been with the club since summer on loan from Real Betis, and Spurs have decided to activate the purchase option in the deal.
Since the departure of Christian Eriksen to Inter Milan in January, the club have decided to add another playmaker to complement what they already have in their squad.
Spurs will have a very busy summer. The club is expected to undergo a major haul. Players running out of contracts need to be replaced. While new additions will be added to close the gap between them and the top sides in the league.
Spurs have been unlucky with injuries, they lost top striker Harry Kane to season ending hamstring injury, while Son also picked a shoulder injury later in the season. The club was linked with so many names in January to help solve their striking problems. Willian Jose, Olivier Giroud and Solomon Kalou were among the names linked with the club. But no deal materialized, as the club kept fate with their current squad.
