KALOU: CLUB CAREER IN FOCUS

Salomon Kalou started his football career at Feyenoord who are one of the biggest clubs in the Netherlands. He spent his youth career at ASEC Mimosas in Ivory Coast before starting his professional football career at Dutch club Feyenoord.


Kalou spent three years at Feyenoord before moving to the Premier League in 2006. During his time at Feyenoord, the forward scored 35 goals in 69 league games. He joined Chelsea from Feyenoord and went on to spend six years at Stamford Bridge. Salomon Kalou won eight trophies during his time with Chelsea until his exit in 2012.
